Iranian Qur’an Reciter Wins in Indonesia Int’l Competition

The competition in recitation and interpretation of one part of the Holy Qur’an was held for both men and women in Jakarta.

A dozen Reciters and interpreters from 45 countries were attending the competition. Iranian judge Abdel Rassoul A’baei accompanied by other members from Indonesia, Egypt, Syria, and Sudan judged the competition.

Solo recitation as well as chorus recitation of religious and Qur’anic texts, held on the side section, were highly acclaimed by the audience.
